Finally Getting My Hands in the Dirt

Today is the first day getting my hands in the dirt and I feel so at home.

I had the most amazing week last week, but this feels like why I’m here. I feel so connected and in my purpose when I am working with the soil. We simply weeded green onions in the late morning and harvested chamomile in the afternoon, with chai breaks during both - chai breaks are taken very seriously here.

It’s also very common to be barefoot in the farm. There is no machinery, just simple tools and our hands to do the work.

Nothing much more to say right now except that I am happy. And I am very much looking forward to it again tomorrow.
