France to Italy

I'm writing from Chamonix, an exquisite mountain town in the French Alps nestled next to a mountain called “Mont Blanc”, the highest mountain in the Alps and Western Europe.

Every day the mountains take on a new form a beauty – whether basking in the sunlight or dancing among the cloud cover, I am constantly captivated by their presence.

I'm fresh outta spending two wonderful weeks with my younger sister — traveling abroad together for the first time through parts of Switzerland and France and having an absolute blast! Our separate trips crossed paths at just the right time and we got to spend ten days together filled with laughs, thrift store hopping, amazing food, far more desserts than I eat on my own and exploring absolutely beautiful places.

I'm feeling incredibly grateful for our time together and newly energized with the shift into yet another iteration of my travels :)

If you've been following along, you know I've lived on a farm for two months, traveled through mountain villages in India with two new friends who have become friends for life, spent time in a remote village in Nepal, made more new friends on a farm stay outside Kathmandu. And most recently, I got to travel with my younger sister in Europe.

Each transition has left me overflowing with gratitude and welling with tears – happy for what's been and sad for having to say goodbye, equally torn between wanting to hold onto the people and places I'm with while feeling anticipation and excitement for what's next — knowing full well that there is always more love, more joy to be embodied in a new way.

I'm crossing into Italy today to explore another type of mountain town and this time, it's just me – getting to discover my own rhythm once again.

I'm setting some new intentions for my trip – one of which is to send regular newsletter updates. I've been reminded how much I truly love writing and want to do more of it! I'm ready for more experiences, more connections, new places and faces abound. Sending so much love!
